couple

Couples who have not been able to conceive after one year of trying are considered infertile. Approximately 10% of couples in the United States are infertile.

Infertility may be caused by a female factor, male factor, or both. The investigation involves testing of both the female and male partner starting with simple noninvasive tests and proceeding until an etiology is found. In some cases however, a clear cause may not be identified.

Treatment may be as simple as taking a medication to induce ovulation or as extensive as surgery to correct abnormalities like endometriosis. RWC has experience in evaluating and treating infertility patients and offers services to include intrauterine inseminations, pelvic surgery, and tubal reversals for women with a prior tubal ligation. If it is determined that ART ( In Vitro Fertilization) is your best option for achieving a pregnancy and an option you would like to pursue, he will coordinate your referral to the appropriate center.
